The ‘Near Perfect Pitch’weekly music podcast began life as a weekly radio show in the 1990s as the very popular ‘Two Pints Of Lager &amp; A Packet Of Crisps’ in Ottawa, Canada. 
Dara Mottahed operates as the one-man show and host of 'Near Perfect Pitch’, a music podcast unlike any other, featuring the best in Indie, Alternative, BritPop, C86, Shoegaze, Dream Pop, Punk, Post-Punk, New Wave, Goth, Madchester and College, new releases, covers, guest interviews and regular weekly features. The perhaps closest parallel to 'Near Perfect Pitch' is some of BBC Radio 6's content 
 Dara is English, (now living in Ottawa, Canada), from Leeds, ex-music industry, a broadcaster of 30 years, a qualified audio engineer, a terminal audiophile, a seasoned publisher and an expert on BritPop / Alternative / Indie / Punk / New Wave / Shoegaze music. Dara recognized at a very early age his categorical lack of musical talent. With this, unfazed, he fast-realized that musical discovery and sharing your finds was beyond rewarding. Live DJ'ing, radio and podcast broadcasting ... sharing the gift of music ... how superb and rewarding a concept is this! 
‘Near Perfect Pitch’ has quickly gained an ever-increasing international audience and the calibre of guests and features just keeps getting better and better.
